Sara Therrien, M.A.

Sara Therrien Violet Healing & Recovery
Sara’s strength is her intuitive ability to gently guide individuals inward to find the underlying cause of current anxiety, unwanted behaviors and reactivity, and implement empathetic healing techniques and practical strategies to create ease, peace and serenity.  Sara has twenty years of education and experience in healing facilitation, counseling, rehabilitation services, recovery, conflict resolution, PTSD and mediation, and more importantly, she only facilitates what she has experienced. In 2014 Sara began applying the mediation and empathy skills she learned in graduate school to her personal process of meditation and inner parts work. After experiencing profound results from these methods, Sara sought out more training and began studying interpersonal neurobiology and supportive healing techniques such as family constellations, inner child rescues, and inner parts empathy with Sarah Payton and Susan Skye (empathybrain.com). She completed 6 weeks of intensive training in 2016 & 2017 and has implemented these life changing models into her work.
Sara holds a BS in Rehabilitation Services and a MA in Interdisciplinary Studies-Peace and Reconciliation. She holds two advanced training certificates in Transformative Mediation and although she is not operating under her CADC, she holds the certificate in Maine. She believes in holistic empowerment and strength based solutions. Sara is not a licensed clinician, therapist or psychotherapist.

Sara is also a Mom of a fabulous 30 year old daughter who lives in Philadelphia. Sara is a published writer and spends her spare time hiking with her dog, camping, seeing live music and trying new restaurants. Sara is available for face to face appointments or via Zoom or phone.
